While the show has been available on different channels and streaming applications, at present, the series can be accessed through the HBO Max application. Guide to Activate HBO Max on activate.hbomax.com Page Roku to Watch Big Bang Theory
As said earlier, in order to access HBO MAX on your Roku device, you will first need to download and install the HBO MAX app from the Channel Store on your Roku device. Once installed, you will need to activate the HBO MAX app on the activate.hbomax.com page. Here are the steps that you will need to follow.
NOTE: At the time of writing this post, the Big Bang Theory series is accessible through the HBO Max application.
- Firstly, you will need to turn on your Roku device and connect it to your TV and wireless internet properly.
- Once you have turned on your Roku device, you will need to sign in to your Roku account if you are not already logged in. Once you have logged into your Roku account, press the Home button (home icon) on your Roku remote. You will be directed to the home screen of your Roku account.
- Now, once you are on the Home screen of your Roku account, you will need to scroll down to navigate to the Streaming Channels Under the Streaming Channels section, you will need to select the Channel Store option to get to the application store section of Roku. Once you are in the Roku Channel Store section, you will need to find the HBO MAX channel. To find it, you can either browse through the list or use the Search Channels option.
NOTE: To use the search option, enter HBO MAX in the search field and press the search icon. From the search result that appears on your screen, you will need to select the HBO MAX app icon and press the Details option on the next screen to reach the preview page of the app.
- Once you are on the preview page of the HBO MAX app, you will need to press the Add channel option to install the application. If prompted to enter a PIN, you will need to provide it in the required field to complete the installation process.
- When the installation process gets completed, the HBO MAX channel will be added to your Roku account. Now, you will need to return to the Home screen of your Roku account and find the HBO MAX Generally, a newly installed application is located at the bottom of the list. If you want you can move its position using the navigation buttons of your remote.
- Now, you will need to launch the HBO MAX channel app. If prompted to sign in to your HBO MAX account, you will need to enter the login credentials provided by your TV service provider in the prompted fields and confirm them. Once you are logged into your HBO MAX account, you can access the desired content from the app.
- However, if you are prompted with an activation code and instructions, you will need to open a web browser on your phone, tablet, or computer and go to the HBO MAX activation page using the URL – hbomax.com.
- Once you are on the activation page of HBO MAX, you will need to press the START NOW You will be directed to the next screen where you will be prompted to enter your activation code in the prompted box.
NOTE: Make sure to sign in to your HBO MAX account to reach the activation page if the activation page doesn’t load on your browser.
- Next, you will need to enter the activation code in the prompted field and confirm it by pressing the “Next” On the next screen, simply follow the on-screen instructions provided to complete the activation process. Once your activation code will get verified successfully, you can get back to your Roku-connected TV.
- On your Roku TV, you will find that you have been logged into the HBO MAX app and you can access Big Bang Theory on your Roku device.
